Every April, for five days, this exhibition centre in Dortmund, Germany is 'Intermodellbau', the world's biggest model market and it attracts more than one hundred thousand visitors who come to see models and to buy models. This year there was also alongside in another hall 'Hobbytronic' for computer games and all the associated hardware and software. Visitors travel from all over Germany and neighbouring countries like France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Italy, Denmark, Poland, the Czech Republic and from a little further afield like Sweden, Norway, and the UK. There are some very attractive package deals from airlines and coach travel companies - and what you save on whatever you buy might more than pay for the trip.
