Lleva Bring and Fly 2005

The Lleyn Bring and Fly, a three day event, traditionally held over the last full weekend in September has been running for the past twenty years and has been a firm fixture on the calendar for many for the whole two decades of its existence. That this meeting, organised by the Lleyn Model Aero Club, should be as popular as it obviously is has to be in part down to the venue and partly due to the superb facilities that the Lleyn MAC have at their disposal, which include part of an old WWII airfield and coastal slopes for all wind directions close by. This beautiful rugged part of North Wales is admittedly a long way away from the mainstream centre of the country, but that seems of little consequence to the regulars who come from as far and wide as Scotland, East Anglia and the south coast to take part, with many staying on for a week or more.
