The curse of the crosswind struck at Cosford for the LMA's annual extravaganza. This meant that the full size performers were unable to attend as the conditions were beyond their permitted operating levels. That said, the crowds were excellent and the models performed until early afternoon on Saturday when it was deemed too windy to continue flying. One of the top performances of the day went to the two JetCat 160 powered Airworld Hawks flown by father and son team Steve and Matt Bishop who gave a fair impression of the Red Arrows synchro pair.
