When Phil Anderson brought his P-40 Warhawk to a club meeting it looked to have the potential of being the subject for one of our featured model series. It was duly painted and equipped and the great day came for the first flights. From that point the story changed rather dramatically...rnPhil and his son Ashley have been a fixture on the Wessex League scene for quite a few years with Ashley winning the individual title on several occasions with dad and a couple of other club members helping to retain the Club trophy. They have usually flown Spitfires and Phil simply decided on a change for the coming season and embarked on a major build in the spring of last year.
