The Bavarian city of Nuernberg was an early centre of science, printing, and mechanical invention and is twinned with many European cities, including Glasgow. In 1470 Anton Koberger opened Europe's first print shop in Nurnberg. It is now a city of culture with many historic sights of interest and museums including the National Railway Museum. Famous also for its selection of local gingerbread and locally made wooden toys that brings us nicely to the nature of the Fair.rnThe Nuernberg Exhibition Centre hosts the world's largest international toy and game trade show (Nuernberger Spielwarenmesse) that takes place annually in early February, and is a platform for launching new products onto the market. The Fair sees around 2,700 exhibitors from more than 60 countries with around 80,000 trade visitors from around the globe, and once again RCMW was there to bring you all the latest new product news.
