Air Race Truck

When I was asked if I wanted to review the Jamara Air Race Truck I wasn't sure what to expect, a truck or an aeroplane? While I was waiting for the kit to arrive I decided to have a look for the model on the Internet and found several videos. To my amazement the videos revealed that this model is in fact both a road going truck with steering and suspension as well as a flying machine with an elevator and rudders! Included in the large box were four well-packed pre printed 3 mm Depron sheets, an accessory pack and the instruction manual. The initial inspection of the parts supported Jamara's reputation of high quality kits. The print quality on the Depron sheets was second to none with every detail covered right down to the tiny dummy wheel nuts on the rims. The tongue and groove style construction method is well designed and will therefore keep the construction time to a minimum. The instruction booklet was A4 sized and featured several black and white pictures, in places it is quite tricky to understand as some of the pictures aren't very clear and the translation from German isn't perfect.
