Much has been written about the Spitfire; its history and of the many types developed throughout WWII, so I wont bore you with it all again, suffice to say that the Spitfire is a very popular model amongst modellers and often 'unsuitably' chosen as a first R/C model.rnChoosing the right Spitfire can be difficult as there's a plethora of these on the market today, and they all look the same in many respects, naturally. Available in a range of marks and schemes, some are big and 'horribly' shiny while others can be smaller, more lightweight, for electric power.
