Does the world need another 50-inch-ish fun-fly I hear you asking? Well maybe not, but at the end of the 2008 flying season I decided I did. I had reached the point of having a stable of almost exclusively 3-D ARTF models; EF 58" Extra and Hangar 9 Funtana for example, but nothing ideally suited to the rigours of club level fun-fly competitions (at least not the way I fly them!) I wanted to return to my roots and design and build my own. I also wanted to try a wing section that I first used about 20-years ago (MW2323 Tempus, RCMW February 1991) and which I thought would be ideal for a lightweight fun-fly model.
