The funeral took place on 26th October 2010 at St. James Church, Bushey, Herts for Ron Moulton who passed away on Friday 8th October. I am sure that most readers will be familiar with his name; for those who are not, Ron was an enormous influence on model flying in the UK from the late 1940s. He introduced C/L flying into the UK and, especially in his days as magazine editor of Aeromodeller, could be found at the forefront of just about any worthwhile aeromodelling development, and continued to be an active aeromodeller right to the end. Ron was the Managing Director of Argus Specialist Publications (the leading hobby magazine publishers for many years - based at Hemel Hempstead), and a main contributor to free flight activities and publications with SAM35 and other worldwide organisations.
