I recently visited a local model aeroplane swapmeet in the north of England. I must admit that I had not intended to make any purchases and it was with this thought very much in mind that I made my way round the numerous 'tables'. It is always amazing just what turns up at these meetings and there were what looked like some excellent bargains. A quarter scale Aeronca Champion that was quite well built and very cheap did tempt me somewhat but I did manage to resist, reasoning that I had too many models anyway.
