"When life gives you lemons, make lemonade" - Dale Carnegie. I have always liked that saying and we got to practice what it preaches at Monster Planes 2012! The weather gods were not kind and dropped the deadly storm, named Sandy, on the East Coast of the USA at the very tail end of the hurricane season. We were spared much of the damage here in Lakeland, Florida but we did have to deal with some strong winds. Besides the wind, however, the weather was perfect! 25℃ during the day with a 5-10° drop at night with perfectly blue skies. Unfortunately, the windy weather did hurt attendance on both sides of the fence, participants and spectators, but we managed to have a great time nonetheless!
