Last year saw the first running over three days of this popular Shropshire model show, although it's probably fair to say that the Friday was a bit quiet. But what a difference a year makes, and by mid-afternoon this year the campsite was packed full to bursting. Mind you it helps that the weather was on form too, which brought many spectators to the flight line. Friday's crowd is pretty much made up of hardy camping and caravanning types, set fair to enjoy all three days of the show. However, the bulk of the audience is still made up of single day visitors, either on the Saturday or Sunday, so Friday does still tend to be a bit quieter, especially around the trade area. So it's a great time to take a stroll and to see what's new and to catch up with old friends before the traders get too busy over the coming weekend.
