If this were a newspaper the headlines would be: Bernie Jones, assisted by Martin Bell, runs excellent 3rd UK international event. The weather did not cooperate to the full but was always pleasant so a very testing competition resulted! I should make special mention here of the catering arrangements. An excellent buffet lunch was available, courtesy of Marlene, Teresa and company, on both Saturday and Sunday, as were hot and cold drinks throughout both days. Many others helped with various tasks. Thirty-two people flew; nine were foreign entries, coming from the Czech Republic, France and Germany. It would be pushing things here to include three from Scotland and three from the Isle of Wight under the 'International' heading, but maybe in another year, who knows?
