As with most of his scale glider designs, Chris has test flown the Scheibe Spatz from both the slope and by aerotow. Chris says: "Aerotows are straightforward. The high set wings keep the wingtips well above the ground and the light weight ensures that she's off the ground and out of danger of ground looping in next to no time. The Spatz should be a relaxing, no-fuss machine, at home equally on the slope or from aerotow.
