摘要

The vast majority of the model plans that we offer in RC Model World and associated Traplet model magazines are drawn up using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software. This not only helps to minimise drawing errors but also allows us to offer additional services like the Traplet Woodpacks, which are cut using Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) Milling Machines for plywood parts and Laser Cutters for balsa parts.It's fascinating to see these machines in action but how they actually work has been a bit of a mystery to me. To a layman the professional software used appears to be quite daunting and I was resigned to watching this exciting new technology from the sidelines.
