Are you are old enough to remember building KeilKraft Flying Scale or Veron Truflite kits on the kitchen table? If so you will probably remember the boyhood delight of peeling shells of dried balsa cement from your fingertips whilst gazing at the slowly emerging shape of a stringered fuselage. If this is a fond memory then you may understand why I had the desire to recapture that feeling by building something similar. Only this time bigger, using clean electric power in place of exploding rubber motors, and fitted with R/C. Sort of a Flying Scale Series kit on steroids!
