Responding to the higher incidence of 'short-life' quarry deposits and the resulting market trend away from capital-intensive fixed plant, Linatex have developed a range of scaled down sand-classification and in-line blending units offering the same high efficiency, low maintenance, flexibility and ease of installation as their existing tried and tested systems, but with the added benefit of a smaller 'footprint' and rapid deployment. First seen at Hillhead, the three Linatex Compact plants are designed to handle up to 150 tonnes/h of -6mm 'as-raised' material to produce single-grade, washed and dewatered products suitable for direct stockpiling.
