New specialist division from Miller

A 35-tonne bucket unveiled by Miller UK to great acclaim at this year's Hillhead exhibition has been delivered to an open-cast coal mine in Spain. Hitachi Construction Machinery Europe chose the Northumberland-based company to produce the new bucket design for their EX5500 excavator.rnWeighing approximately 31 tonnes and measuring 4.25m wide × 4.1 tall × 4.5m deep, with a 300mm thick cutting edge, the new design is the largest bucket ever made by Miller.
