New Finedoor screen for CEMEX

Cowieslinn Quarry at Eddleston, near Peebles, Scotland, has recently taken delivery of a new screen from Finedoor.The site, owned and operated by CEMEX, produces around 400,000 tonnes of gritstone a year, which is processed and supplied to local markets. The company needed a new screen at the quarry due to recent changes to the existing plant's production line. As a result, CEMEX turned to Finedoor for a 4.3m × 1.5m two-deck screen, with grease lubrication and feed andrndischarge trays, to replace a bypass chute. An SCS polyurethane self-supporting modular system (with full side protection) and pin fixing component were also supplied as part of the contract.
