Bobcat introduce new grabs for mini-excavators

A variety of new hydraulic grabs from Bobcat for use on their E55W, E60 and E80 excavators are now available. The first range is a new family of grabs for applications in demolition and for general sorting jobs. Available in widths of 50cm and 60cm, the demolition and sorting grabs feature an HPX drive system that helps to protect all components from damage. The maintenance-free HPX drive system removes the need for vulnerable hydraulic cylinders and bushings and pins. The grab's compact rotation head absorbs extremely high forces and is well suited to the demanding conditions on demolition sites, while the perforated shells offer excellent screening of rubble on site. The other range is a new line of multi-purpose 'pick and place' grabs, which have been designed as efficient tools for precise positioning of stones, as well as the handling of filling material. Available in widths of 40cm and 50cm, the multi-purpose grabs are available with either the HPX drive or a hydraulic cylinder for opening/closing.
