Glen Creston unveil improved roller crusher

Glen Creston have updated and improved the design and function of their roller crusher (pictured right). One of the newest features of the unit is it can now be supplied with a control box with PLC technology for remote monitoring and control of the crusher in process applications. The crusher also features a large single shaft unit (800mm × 500mm), specially designed for crushing lump coal up to 250mm. High temperature versions are available for crushing power station ash up to 250℃. The rugged, slow-running mill is equipped with either a single or double roller shafts fitted with crushing cams, which rotate between crushing and stripping combs. Different shaped crushing elements can be specified depending on material.
