New bulk-bag conditioner from Flexicon

The new 'Block-Buster' bulk-bag conditioner from Flexicon, which has been purpose built for mining and quarrying applications, is designed to loosen filter cake, ammonium nitrate, lime and other materials that can solidify in bulk bags during storage and shipment. A hydraulically actuated turntable allows automated in-frame bag rotation and conditioning of bulk bags at variable heights. Two hydraulic rams drive contoured conditioning plates against opposite sides of the bulk bag to crush and loosen compacted material, promoting flow and allowing bulk-bag unloaders to discharge the contents through bag spouts.
