Lafarge Tarmac celebrate industry first

Lafarge tarmac have achieved the ISO 50001 international energy-management standard across their Cement and Lime operations - marking the first step in rolling the certification out across the entire UK business by the end of 2015. ISO 50001 provides organizations with a framework to manage and improve their energy performance, while enhancing operational efficiencies, decreasing energy intensity and reducing environmental impacts. Lafarge Tarmac have become the first UK operator to achieve the certification across all their cement and lime operations.
