Whilst Hillhead is perhaps best known for its live demonstrations of earthmoving plant and equipment at the quarry face, not to mention the buzz of all the crushing and screening action that takes place in 'Crusher Alley', one of the most prolific growth areas in recent years has been in the market for washing plant and equipment for use in sand and gravel operations and waste-recovery applications. This is reflected in the number exhibitors offering such systems and the increasingly wide array of equipment on display. Here we present just a few of the key highlights from this year's show.
