Hanson make major asphalt plant investment in Allington

HANSON UK have invested more than £7 million in a new asphalt plant at their Allington site, near Maidstone, in Kent, to improve service to their customers and increase production capacity, sustainability and efficiency. The upgraded plant is now one of the most advanced in Europe and features a range of environmental benefits, including reductions in energy consumption, CO_2 emissions and noise levels, as well as the facility to increase the amount of recycled asphalt planings in the mix.
