Following the successful introduction of the 291 -tonne I320-ton) capacity 794 AC truck at MINExpo 2016 and investments to further advance the 363-tonne (400-ton) 797F mechanical-drive truck, Caterpillar are now introducing the electric-drive 798 AC and 796 AC mining trucks. As part of their sustainability strategy, the Sheehan Group have fitted a £50,000 MobyDick wheel washing system at their aggregates recycling plant in Oxford. The drive-through unit efficiently removes dirt, mud and debris from lorries and uses water from a reservoir to ensure the company carries out an environmentally friendly operation.
