Vibration Monitoring and Analysis

Schaeffler are providing regular (typically every two months) route-based condition-monitoring and analysis services at Tarmac Buxton Lime & Cement's Tunstead cement works, near Buxton, Derbyshire, as part of an annual service contract. By analysing vibration data from a range of critical plant and equipment at the site, Schaeffler are able to detect damage to components such as rolling bearings and gears before it becomes a major problem, thus reducing costly unplanned downtime and prolonging the life of the equipment.
