STRENGTH IN NUMBERS

After 25 years of quality experience, I found myself thrust into job-search purgatory. My expertise was in food and beverage packaging, and I always had worked in quality assurance. Although I had some supervisory experience in production and laboratory environments, my formal degree was more than 25 years old. I needed a way to stand out among many applicants vying for the few available positions in quality. I was faced with a Pareto-like situation: the vital few (jobs) versus the trivial many (applicants).
