Q When did you first become interested in radio? As for every young boy of my generation, radio was a mystery that I wanted to master. At a very young age, I showed talent in mathematics and science and wanted to be an engineer. Q What led to your studying electrical engineering and telecommunications? I grew up with the philosophy in life of always knowing what you want to be at all times. My late father used to always test me on that on all subjects. So at the end of my high school term when I was given the form for a merit scholarship that I received, I had to make three choices for my university studies. Unlike other students, I indicated the same word, "electronics," three times. I truly believed that in that case, the Committee would have no other choice.
