Chevron Lucerne Valley Project Approved for Construction on Public Lands

The Chevron Lucerne Valley Solar Project is the first utility-scale PV installation to gain approval for construction on public lands. The 45 MW project was approved by Interior Secretary Ken Salazar and will occupy 422 acres of public land that is managed by the Bureau of Land Management.
