The British contract packing company Mailway Packaging Solutions has grown in strength as a result of another acquisition. The company announced in mid-August that it had completed the takeover of Perpack Limited. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. With a capacity of more than 3 million units per year, Perpack is regarded as one of the UK's leading suppliers of flow-wrap packaging. Mailway Packaging is also banking on the expertise of the acquired company to bring the present three companies of its own into line with the requirements of the British Retail Consortium (BRC) for packaging used in the food sector.
