Crown Paper Mill invests in new tissue machine

The Abu Dhabi-based tissue paper company Crown Paper Mill (CPM) has placed an order with Finnish machine engineering company Valmet to supply a new tissue machine. The TM, which will have a web width of 5.6 m and be able to run at a speed of 2,000 m/min, will have a capacity of 65,000 tpy, Valmet informed. It will reportedly produce premium facial, sanitary and kitchen tissue for Middle East markets. Commissioning of the new machine is planned for the second half of 2018.
