CKF adds more renewable packaging options

Canadian molded pulp producer CKF Inc. has acquired Vancouver-based Earthcycle Packaging Ltd. The company says the acquisition will further strengthen its product offering while providing opportunities to access new markets with an expanded portfolio of sustainable packaging products. Earthcycle develops packaging made from palm fibre, a renewable resource formerly considered an agricultural waste. The food packaging products are certified compostable, recyclable and renewable.
