Show your tennis courts some love

Asphalt tennis, basketball, roller, and street hockey courts have bedeviled public works departments for decades. Even with regular maintenance, most crack over time and require reconstruction. It's too late for corrective action by the time the surface begins to affect play or impact safety. Until recently, facility owners have had to make short-term repairs instead of implementing long-term solutions. Unfortunately, a band-Aid approach is often counterproductive. Owners spend valuable time, effort, and money on quick fixes when those resources could be better applied toward a permanent solution.
