The HydroSense 2410 on-line water monitor continuously examines the water sample flowing through the system for ppm concentrations of hydrocarbons.rnIdeally suited to detect petroleum oils in effluent and produced water, the unit has a display, signal output, and alarm that can be configured within the 0-1000 ppm range.rnEngineered with unique designs, the 2410 includes a sensing chamber, optical sensor package (which hovers above the passing stream) and controller.rnThe HydroSense uses a UV fluorescence technique to target the aromatic component of the oil contamination.rnThrough a site calibration this aromatic tag provides an indication relative to total oil.
