Robbie Williams' LMA tunes in to Metquarter

Robbie Williams' music and performing arts institution LMA has signed a 25-year lease to open a campus at the redeveloped Metquarter shopping centre in Liverpool. The £15m university campus will open this September in 50,000 sq ft of the scheme's first floor. It will comprise film, dance and recording studios, music rehearsal rooms and classrooms. Urban regeneration specialist Queensberry has refurbished the property over the past 18 months and signed tenants including local fashion stalwarts Cricket and Kids Cavern, as well as cinema chain Everyman Cinema. A food hall is expected to open in the near future. Robbie Williams said: "Liverpool is home to some amazing talent and LMA is testament to that. I'm proud to be part of its incredible journey as staff and students take their next steps in expanding across the city."
