LSH's 574 aims to beat record lot price at next online auction

Lambert Smith Hampton's new auction platform 574 is offering the most expensive lot ever marketed at an online auction in the UK. The auction house hopes to sell Joseph Stones House (pictured), a 14-floor student accommodation block in Leeds, for more than its record guide price of £20m at its next online sale on 3 July. The lot has the potential to become the largest ever sold at any auction, online or offline. The current record is held by a housing estate in north London that was sold by Barnett Ross for £20.4m in May 2018.
