Mixed-use retail helps Allsop notch up sales of £98m

Allsop Commercial raised £97.7m at its latest commercial auction, thanks to strong sales from mixed-use retail and residential properties across the south of England. The figure surpassed the total raised at the February auction - traditionally the quietest of the year - by £34.lm, and is also a significant increase on March 2015's E70m income. The gain wasaided by a large catalogue of 148 properties, compared with 127 in the same auction last year. However, the success rate dropped to 87% this time around, compared with 91% in March 2015.
