The marketing of Madame Tussauds - sold last week by Nick Leslau's Secure Income REIT to Fubon Life for £330m - was almost as unique as the property Itself. A select group of potential buyers were sent a box containing a tablet preloaded with an animation filmed for the sale - along with a figurine from the film, headphones and the more customary brochure. Featuring specially made model figures and scenes, the film recounts the history of the building on Marylebone Road that has been home to the attraction for 130 years. The aim, says Leslau, was to bring to life the property for a global audience as well as illustrating the covenant strength and the opportunity.
