Savills is selling a 6 acre site on this industrial park, for around £1.5m. The land comprises a detached industrial unit and two-storey offices. Sources say agents have received competitive bids, all of which meet the asking price. The 1.5m sq ft business park, which will be built next to Rolls-Royce's civil aerospace factory, was granted planning permission last week. The park will provide predominantly industrial floorspace and some offices, leisure and retail. It is being funded by a £40m grant that Derb City Council secured from the government's regional growth fund. The scheme is a joint venture between the council, Rolls-Royce, the landowner Harpur Crewe Estate and joint developers Wilson Bowden and Miller Birch.
