Thanks to the general election, the traditional Christmas rush to get big deals over the line was even more frenetic than usual. The London office market was particularly busy. According to preliminary data from CBRE, around £1.6bn worth of offices in the capital changed hands across 10 deals between the general election and the end of the year, including Northwood Investors' £170m acquisition of Five Acre Square (pictured) and K&K Holdings' £130m purchase of Orion House.
