Developers, designers and local authorities in London could find value in repurposing large industrial buildings and complexes as office space, a new report has found. The report, Industrial Rehab: A New Space of Opportunity, studies the potential for "very large" buildings to deliver high-quality space, support creative working and accommodate occupiers' rapid growth. The study by JLL and London and Manchester-based architecture practice HawkinsBrown focuses on 30 very large industrial buildings across the world and examines their key characteristics including three in particular: volume, versatility and value.
