North West industrial rents shoot up as space shortage begins to bite

North West industrial rents are skyrocketing, according to the latest data from Savills. Since 2013, industrial rents across the region have risen by as much as 35%. While this represents a significant hike, Jonathan Atherton, industrial agency director at Savills, says it is not as great a percentage rise as has been recorded in some parts of the South East and the Midlands, where the ongoing supply-demand imbalance has driven rents up by as much as 53%.
