A 150,000 sq ft London office, built on the site of the first theatre to stage one of Shakespeare's plays, is to be put up for sale as a ￡250m residential development opportunity. Scottish Widows Investment Partnership has instructed Knight Frank to market Rose Court, a government-let block next to Southwark Bridge. Agents are expected to ask for offers of more than ￡70m for the freehold of the property, which is let to the Crown Prosecution Service at ￡24/sq ft until the middle of 2018.
