Grosvenor offices to bond with Crossrail station

Grosvenor aims to submit a detailed planning application to develop 75,000 sq ft of offices above the new Bond Street Crossrail station to Westminster City Council next month. The site at 65 Davies Street was compulsorily purchased by Crossrail in 2009 to allow it to begin work on the ￡16bn Heathrow-to-Essex rail link. In 2009 Grosvenor signed an collaboration agreement with Crossrail to buy the "air space" above Bond Street Crossrail station. It also signed a pre-emption agreement that allows Grosvenor to buy back the site once the station has been constructed, which is expected to be in 2016.
