Anglo Irish assets to be sold after rescue deal fails

Anglo Irish Bank agreed a provisional deal almost two years ago with Stephen Vernon's Green Property to buy the portfolio of the Select Geared Property Fund, but this deal has now collapsed. The fund is likely to be broken up and the properties sold separately.
