Tesco reveals what Cromwell site has in store

Tesco is to develop an 85,000 sq ft retail park in Cambridgeshire on the site of one of its existing stores. The plans come after the supermarket bought a 10 acre plot 200 metres from its store in Wisbech, where it will develop a 110,000 sq ft Tesco Extra, an eight-screen cinema and up to four restaurants. The existing Tesco store will be demolished and redeveloped as Cromwell Retail Park once the new Tesco Extra has opened, so the supermarket will not lose trade.
