Quinlan sued by his own company over unpaid bills

Irish entrepreneur Derek Quinlan was sued by the luxury hotel company he helped to set up, over an unpaid hotel and property bill, which was later paid off by the billionaire Barclay brothers. Quinlan allegedly owed Maybourne Hotel Group £284,913 in hotel bills and interest on a property deal undertaken by the company's co-owners. A writ was lodged with the High Court in November 2010 to recover this sum.
