Manchester city centre's prime office yield is expected to hit a post-recession record this week with NFU Mutual understood to be under offer to buy Chancery Place at 5%. The deal, for more than £54m, reflects the strength of the city centre office investment market, which has seen yields harden over the past year. Fierce competition for the 106,000 sq ft building has seen it surpass the quoted £52,1m when it was put on the market earlier this year. JLL was appointed to sell Chancery Place, which is fully let to tenants including Kyocera and Clyde & Co, for Alanis Capital and Irish Bank Resolution Corporation.
