Now more than ever employers and employees are aligned with complementary goals of staying in business and staying employed. Cost savings are important for employers at any time, but even more so during an economic downturn. Now more than ever employers and employees are aligned with complementary goals of staying in business and staying employed. This like-mindedness presents an opportunity for companies to launch, expand, and/or integrate workplace programs aimed at promoting safety, health and wellness in order to cut costs associated with work disruption and absenteeism and to maintain productivity.
